What we thought

One of the main things I look for in a sleeping bag is the material. I’m not a fan of the way some synthetic bags feel against the skin and I prefer a more natural cotton-feel.

Although the Night Owl 3 in 1 has a polyester cover, it feels nice and soft against the skin and is lovely to sleep in. In fact, with its calming light blue color, it’s like sleeping inside a big fluffy marshmallow cloud!

When getting in and out (despite the generous filling), the zipper never gets stuck – which is a problem I have encountered with one of my previous sleeping bags.

The sleeping bag is super light, whilst at the same time being incredibly warm and cozy. The really clever bit is that it can be used as either a double sleeping bag, or as two singles.

We love the versatility this sleeping bag provides and it’s a great quality, highly capable 3-season bag (7-tog) that will easily see you through autumn and spring camping trips.

The other big bonus with this sleeping bag, is that it can be machine washed and the Smartfil® Polyester sleeping bag filling is made from 100% recycled PET bottles. So as far as sleeping bags go, it makes a more environmentally friendly choice.

At $95, it’s not a cheap sleeping bag by any means, but performance-wise it holds up well compared to similarly priced sleeping bags like the Vango Aurora and the Outwell Camper Lux, and is definitely worth considering.
